Cheryl Cameron is an Advanced Care Paramedic, Director of Operations with Canadian Virtual Hospice, and Coach with Health Care Excellence on the Paramedics and Social Prescribing Program. Her work focuses on the expanding the role of paramedicine within health and social care system and the professionalization of paramedicine within Canada. She has held previous leadership, strategic policy, program development, and education roles with Alberta Health Services EMS, the Alberta Ministry of Health, and Lakeland College. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Masters of Education in Health Sciences Education, and is a current PhD Candidate with Monash University, Australia, where she is studying engagement in the development of integrated care programs.
