Adam Greene

Adam Greene is a critical care paramedic with the British Columbia Emergency Health Service (BCEHS) Air Ambulance and Critical Care Operations with over 20 years of experience and the current chief of the Vancouver Island team. In addition to his clinical practice, he is a front-line leader and mentor to paramedic colleagues of all license levels. Adam holds a Master of Science in Critical Care from Cardiff University, and his graduate work was instrumental in developing the BCEHS out-of-hospital transfusion program. He is a founding member Canadian Prehospital and Transport Transfusion network which facilitates collaboration, standardization, and evaluation of out-of-hospital transfusion across Canada. Adam holds a variety of academic appointments in both Canada and Wales, including as a research fellow with St Michael’s Unity Health Toronto, as a senior fellow with the McNally Project for Paramedicine Research in Canada and as an honorary lecturer with the Cardiff University School of Medicine.
