Tom Zajac is a Critical Care Paramedic based out of Vancouver, British Columbia. He has over 25 years as a paramedic and currently works on rotor and fixed-wing air ambulances for BC Emergency Health Services. Tom is the President of Canadian Paramedic Memorial Foundation, and is also an active member of the Paramedic Association of Canada’s National Awards and Benevolent committees.  Tom has a passion for Search and Rescue. He is the Medical Team Leader and a Medical Specialist on CAN-TF1, the Vancouver Heavy Urban Search and Rescue team. He is a Past President and a Search Team Leader with Coquitlam Search and Rescue, an all-volunteer wilderness SAR team.
