Jonathan Brnjas ACP
Jon currently is the Clinical Operations Director for Northern Regions with BCEHS supporting a team of frontline staff that deliver prehospital care to some of the most remote areas within British Columbia across roughly sixty percent of its landmass.
Jon started his Paramedic career in Ontario in 2008 as a Primary and then Advanced Care Paramedic with Waterloo Region EMS and Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Service working in both urban and rural environments. His first formal leadership role was with Iqaluit Emergency Services as the first Assistant Fire Chief in the organizations history and focused on establishing clinical oversight, evidence based clinical guidelines and COVID response guidelines for the City. Upon returning to Ontario Jon held Superintendent roles with both Leeds-Grenville Paramedic Service and Frontenac Paramedic Services with a focus on directly supporting frontline staff.
Jon then moved to Northern BC and joined BCEHS in 2022 first taking on a Clinical Operations Manager role before moving into his current position as Northern Clinical Operations Director.
