Brooks Hogya is the i/Director of Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience at BC Emergency Health Services, where he leads planning for disaster recovery and business continuity. He is a licensed paramedic and holds a Doctorate in Climate Change Adaptation and a Master’s in Disaster and Emergency Management. In the past year he led the BCEHS after action reviews for the 2025 Lapu Lapu Day and 2026 Tumbler Ridge mass casualty incidents.
